I have discovered a new vocabulary-improving method that works in all languages.

Learning a new language can be hard, boring and stressful. If you notice that your English is not improving, you might want to quit.

I have been learning English for a few months now. I continuously searched for a way to make my studies more efficient and I found a new vocabulary learning method that is crazy and mind-numbing. Because I tried this method for myself and saw amazing results, I have decided to make post about it.

If you memorize a word, you will forget it.

One of the vocabulary-improving methods I tried was just memorizing. Although I have a good memory, I forgot what I memorized after a few days.

Spaced learning is an excellent method for memorizing but not for learning thousands of words.

I also tried spaced learning for a few months. Using a program for spaced learning, such as Anki, is a great way to learn new words. I could use it if I needed to learn hundreds of words, phrases, etc. I do not need it as I have to learn thousands of words.

How to learn thousands of words with my method without forgetting: the bulk method.

The bulk method is an easy-to-use, understandable way to learn thousands of words. Here is the step-by-step guide.

1- Determine the words you wanted to learn

The thing you need to do is collect a bunch of words. In our example, let's say you have 300 words that you want to learn and you have 30 days to complete your challenge. (You can change these parameters as you want.)

2- Get the first 30 words of your word list and let's get started

Write these words on a piece of paper one by one and start with the first one. Let's say the first word is perseverance. Look up the meaning of this word from a dictionary and read its definitions. After you have done them, write the explanation of this word in your own words, as well as one or two sentences using this word. On average, you can do these processes in 2 minutes for each word, so for 30 words, you need an hour. After you have done the same thing for the 30 words, you are done for the day.

3- Day 2

On the second day, you will do the same things for the same 30 words without reviewing the work you did yesterday. You again do a 1-hour study to look up and write an explanation, as well as sentences.

4- Day 3

On the third day, you will do the same things for the same 30 words without reviewing the work you did yesterday. You again do a 1-hour study to look up and write an explanation, as well as sentences.

5- Result

Congratulations! You have learned the 30 words and you will never forget them. Also, your daily average is 30/3=10 words. It is great for the beginning stages. You can continue with the next set of 30 words to learn more words. At the end of the month, you will have a great understanding of these 300 words with fewer effort than conventional vocabulary learning methods.
